Here is a brand new Ludwig Copper Concert snare drum! This drum is 5x14" and offers a warm dark sound with clean articulation.

Steve’s notes.  I have always thought that people tend to forget about how great modern concert snares can be for drum set work. Traditionally, (meaning a long time ago!), concert snares were basically more one-dimensional with one set of snare strands, and typically those were either gut or cable. As a result, the drums tended to be very dry and not well suited to drum set work since the versatility was limited. But, modern concert snares now have multiple combinations for the snare strands, and this provides endless options all within one drum. You can dial in a myriad of sounds ranging from super-dry to fat and full, with anything in between. The die cast hoops are great and the copper shell adds warmth. Great drum for studio work or live work. The various combinations are almost endless with the coated cable, regular wire and uncoated cable. Check out the video!

The P89 Concert Strainer allows for smooth throw activating a 3 row snare system. Coated Cable, spiral steel wire and uncoated cable each with two points of adjustment allow the player to fine-tune the sound precisely. Be sure to check out our video demo with Steve, attached to this listing!
