For sale is my Edwards Les Paul, E-LP 98 LTS. This is a killer Japanese made Les Paul that sounds and plays great. Low action, resonant, and versatile.
I bought it in 2014, imported from Japan and have been the only owner. This was my number one gigging guitar since 2014 and has served me well. It’s definitely got some nicks and scratches here and there but nothing affecting sound, playability or feel. It’s a little heavy for my less than stellar back now and I like to change things up so hopefully she can find a loving new player.
Regarding the headstock crack, around 2015 at a rehearsal the guitar got knocked off a stand and the headstock split but didn’t separate. It has been glued/clamped which should make the joint stronger and now sounds and plays excellent, just as good as it did. It holds tuning well. I never really cared how the repair looked so long as it didn’t affect playability or sound. No issues there beyond looks.
This guitar played and sounded better than a few Gibsons I sampled through when I was shopping.
It has a nitro top coat finish (LTS = "Lacquer Taste Series") that helps give it a vintage Les Paul look/feel. The binding and hardware is aged looking as well.
I put in Grover keystone Rotomatic tuners and a Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF set which sounds awesome in this guitar! This thing can do it all! Clean, jazz, blues, Americana, shred, high gain, prog metal etc. It’s super versatile and cleans up well.
Local pickup available. Happy to ship to Cont-US. If shipping is less than $100 I’ll refund the difference and if it’s more I’ll eat the cost.
I’d be into trading for a Fender P or J bass or something similar. Not looking for more guitars, amps, or pedals/rack gear.
