OC Duff Neck Telecaster Pickup, Aged, Relic
Having always been a fan of that classic Bakersfield school of Telecaster picking, I set out a while back to find the best neck pickup for this style. My search led me to the OC Duff 'Buckaroo.' This pup absolutely nails those classic Don Rich tones, but also has that Pete Anderson kind of thing going on as well. Really great, articulate pickup with warmth and clarity, a very hard mix to accomplish. Lots of vintage cloth lead for easy installation. Pickup works perfectly. I do not have a meter presently, but I believe this weighs in around 6.5K. Please see the OC Duff site for tech specs. Works perfectly and sounds great. Surprisingly good with overdriven tones, can get very raunchy. I would love to keep it but the taxman cometh and I've dissembled the guitar it was in for sale.
