About This Listing

Actual guitar shown in the above photographs.

Here we have a gorgeous piece for PRS; a McCarty Korina with a quilted maple top. This model was named after Gibson great Ted McCarty, who later consulted for PRS. This particular piece has 22 frets on a wide fat neck that feels very substantial in the hands. The action is fast and the guitar plays very nicely with a great tone from the 57/08 pick-ups, particularly from the neck pick-up. The quilted top looks great against the gold hardware, giving this guitar a very elegant look. Aside from some light tarnishing on the gold-plated bridge from age, this guitar is in near-mint condition, with a perfectly straight neck and super-clean finish. This beauty ships in its original hard-shell case.
