Here is an interesting guitar. It is a 1964 Gibson LG-1. These were
student models made during the 60s. This one is only surpassed by the
LG-2, and is a grade above a common LG-0. This guitar is well worn as you
can see from the pictures. It has had a couple of crack repairs and one
of the back braces has been replaced. I lowered the action at the
bridge. These bridges have a tendency to lift in the back but I
tightened it up pretty good so it shouldn't budge. The tuners are
original. It has 2 vertical cracks that were glued on the face of the
lower, left, bout. It also has a crack on the lower back that is a bit
uneven. Nevertheless this is a fine playing instrument. I have a set of
Martin SP Custom Lights on it right now. It plays really easy.
