The MXL 4000XL is a multi-pattern condenser microphone with a large 32mm dual diaphragm capsule for a full, rich, and balanced sound. The multiple polar patterns include cardioid, figure 8, and omnidirectional giving you a mic that’s versatile for capturing critical vocals, group vocals, instruments, room ambience and much more. The 4000XL uses hand-selected internal components to deliver a sound that faithfully captures both vocal and instrument performances. Extra features include a low frequency roll off to reduce unwanted rumble, a -10db pad to capture louder signals, a specially designed heavy duty MXL 60 shock mount and wooden storage case.
