Paul Reed Smith has over a decade of experience with LR Baggs piezo systems in their acclaimed hollow body guitars models. This new LR Baggs piezo system retains the same circuit design as the original hollow body systems but is more than 60% smaller to comfortably fit into the P22 solid body guitar, rendering the same extraordinary tonal voices as PRS hollow body instruments.

This PRS Artist Package has been updated with exceptional tone woods including an artist grade flame maple top, (optional) East Indian Rosewood Neck, select mahogany back, V12 finish is standard, premium Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard, Brazilian Rosewood headstock veneer with inlaid signature, and Brazilian Rosewood truss rod cover. New artist bird inlays are green abalone with green ripple outlines on Ebony fretboards. The upgraded Indian Rosewood Neck has a "Pattern Regular" neck profile, 22 frets and 25" overall scale length. Also standard are uncovered 57/08 pickups with the new bobbins which sound incredible and clean up beautifully when rolling off the volume. This beauty features an optional Indian Rosewood Neck, Artist Grade Flame Maple Artist Grade top finished in the custom color: Faded Blue Jean and is extraordinary! Hardware is a hybrid gold/nickel which compliments the color beautifully.
