Here is a SPL/Sound Percussion Labs Street Bop Drum Kit. Excellent condition. It is in silver sparkle finish. A very nice, tight sparkle/glitter pattern that is almost like grains of sand.
Sizes:
Rack Tom: 10" (7" Deep)
Floor Tom: 13" (13" Deep)
Bass Drum: 18" (16" Deep)
Snare Drum: 13" (5" Deep)
This kit is in excellent shape.. 2.3 mm hoops on all three drums (minus the bass), top and bottom. Floor tom leg brackets upgraded to eyebolts. Sturdy, thick wood bass drum hoops with gloss clear lacquer. Snare strainer has been upgraded to a P-85 type copy. Much better than the factory plastic throw off. The original strainer holes have been filled in with wood filler (see photo) and are hidden by the new strainer.
I cut small sections of the snare drum snare side hoop to allow for the snare wires to completely drop down when in the "off" position. (see the photo). With the hoop as normal, the design of the hoop would not allow the snare wires to drop down enough without hitting the hoop (and therefore not disengaging all the way). It works as intended now, and it does not affect the structural integrity of the hoop and it is smooth to the touch. Other than the strainer, eyebolts in the leg brackets and snare side hoops, everything else is factory.
Good quality heads all around. Fiberskyn Ambassadors on the toms, Coted Ambassador on the snare and an Evans EC2/Stock Coated heads on the bass. Snare stand shown is for illustrative purposes only and is not included.
This is a great sounding and versatile kit. It's easy to carry around and takes a a small footprint on stage or in an office/bedroom etc. These can be tuned up for jazz or low and thuddy for rock and they respond very well either way. You will not be disappointed in these.
