Here is a Rare One Off Gibson Les Paul Custom. This is the only Factory Triple Pickup Les Paul Custom with Maple Fingerboard we can remember encountering. Ebony Finish, Three Humbucking Pickups, Gold Hardware, Untouched Electronics, Maple Fingerboard, and Stamped Headstock Serial Number. Another cool feature are the pots are dated 1377653. Some may say "wait a minute, there are only 52 weeks in a year" however 1976 was a Leap Year, thus a 53rd week Leap Year Pots. A Very Good Plus Vintage Guitar displaying some light normal wear and finish checking. A few small cracks in the plastic pickup surrounds. A time period cleaner bridge installed with the original in the case pocket. Stamped a Factory Second with no visible flaws. Peter Frampton released "Frampton Comes Alive" in 1976 creating a demand for Triple Pickup Les Paul Customs and this guitar seems to be one of Gibson's ventures into that market. Included is the Original Hardshell Case (one broken latch). A Rare Triple Pickup LP Custom we will call The "Leap Year Les Paul".
