This guitar was clearly modeled after the late 1950s Gibson Korina wood guitars.  It was built by a 1960s luthier, an unknown maker.  It would match the Flying V, Explorer, or Modern models.  This guitar is made from a solid block of Korina wood, a very hard and heavy wood, however, the small body makes the guitar quite lightweight and comfortable to play.

The components are an interesting assortment.  The pickups and bridge are from a 1960s Hofner and these sound fantastic.  I have the mute tilt devise locked into an open position because I prefer to use palm muting.  The neck is straight and has a very good feel.  It looks like a refinished Vox guitar neck. Scale is 25", 1-1/2" at the nut. The best component is the impressive Bigsby tremolo, an original 1960s component.  The pots date to 1966.  Even the pickguard is made of a thin layer of the matching Korina wood.  The entire guitar is simply an impeccable project by an obscure 1960s luthier, built at a time when nobody custom built home-made guitars.  It is such cool design and plays very well.

It doesn't just look good--it plays well also.  This guitar stays in tune, the pickups sound incredible and the tremolo works perfectly.  This guitar looks wilder than 99% of the guitars out there.  Weight is only 8 pounds.

This will be shipped by UPS, boxed up well, totally safe packaging.
