Empire 598 III Troubador turntable

The best model turntable of the short lived Empire scientific Corp. of Garden City NY. The 598III TROUBADOR was sold in the ‘70s as “The world’s most perfect recorded playback system”.  I purchased the turntable in 1974, Or early ‘75. I used it as part of my audio system for about 10 years and then returned it to its original compartmentalized delivery box which I still have. It currently has a newer fully functional belt. EMPIRE 4000 D/III 4 dimensional diamond stereo/quadraphonic stylus is included. This is a great addition to any audiophile’s high end collection. Cueing control and Dyna-lift need adjustment or repair. Walnut is in very good condition for age, plexiglass has slight scratches consistent with age and use. Original White RCA PHONO connect cable included.
