The MP1 was part of the Pro Series, made from 1965-1967 by Magnatone and was their first amplifier geared toward guitar. I am the second owner of the amp. It has been professionally serviced and functions wonderfully. The sound is great and has all the iconic '60s characteristics as well as plenty of volume. As far as I can tell, everything is original except for the new power cord added during servicing. Overall great condition- some surface rust to the reverb tank, a few scuffs and lifted spots to black tolex. The dust cover has some cuts and rips. I believe the dimmer knob originally turned on a backlit display- this is the only thing that does not work. Notable features:
- 1 x 12" speaker
- 30 watts peak output
- Spring reverb tank
- Tremolo
- Rear kickstand
- Original (I think) vinyl dust cover
- Second channel for a microphone
- "Recording" and "Normal" knob for low and high volume
