WOW!! Here we go again with another stellar vintage kit in amazing condition.
In late 1978 Yamaha blew the lid of the entire drum industry when they introduced their 9000 Series drums. By 1981 the 9000 Series evolved into the Recording Custom line. The craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail set a new standard for excellence both in the drum and recording industry.
This single owner set has remains in near perfect condition. You'll see some snare rash on the 12" tom and a few minor finish flaws in the photos. The hex arm on one of the adjustable tom holders has been bent, but doesn't get in the way of it working as intended. There are no other issues to report on this set. It sounds as spectacular as it looks.
14x22", 16x16", 9x13", 8x12", with a matching 5x14" snare PLUS and a chrome 5x14" Original Yamaha logo heads on the bottoms of the toms and the chrome snare. Remo Pinstripes on top of the toms.
Original Yamaha Recording Customs, in this condition have become extremely rare and almost impossible to find.
This set includes the double tom mount. Bass pedal and snare stand in the photos are not included.
