Vintage 1987 Peavey Foundation FL Fretless Bass USA

  • 3 tone sunburst
  • ‘FL’ model factory fretless bass
  • 34 inch scale, 8 inch radius
  • Rosewood fingerboard with contrasting color fret lines
  • Fast, narrow neck (~1.5 inch width at the nut)
  • Two Peavey Super Ferrite single coil pickups
  • Peavey trapezoidal bridge with high mass saddles
  • Schaller-style tuners
  • Made in USA

As you can see from the included photos, this bass has seen some use and has some noticeable cosmetic issues/mojo, but is otherwise 100% structurally/functionally sound (eg, all electronics work, truss rod and bridge are fully functional, tuners work well, etc). The most egregious cosmetic issues are highlighted in the photos, but be advised that there may be other minor beauty marks/patina all over the bass not pictured in these close-ups…

Truss rod cover is missing. Currently wearing flat wound strings.

As with all Peavey basses of this era and type, these Super Ferrite instruments have great tone and are very comfortable to play. The neck is fast and smooth, and the bass has medium-low action. For the money, this is a great USA-made fretless bass!

No case but will be packed carefully for shipping
