Fender Nocaster 1951 yr. Blackguard / Blond tint . Original guitar with a few changes . This solid body guitar had a fret job a few decades ago , frets still in good shape . The knurled volume and tone knobs are reissues . A previous owner added a string tree to the G and D strings on the head stock and later it was removed and the tiny hole from the screw was filled . This Fender has a light weight swamp Ash body and a Hard Rock Maple neck and 71 years of natural playing wear. The pots have a great deal of noise when the volume or tone control is turned . The tuners saw their best days long ago . The neck is straight , the truss rod screw turns with ease , the pick-ups still sound better than good. I never turned a screw on this guitar , not even the neck to see if a date was on the neck heel . The serial no. is on the bridge plate 0065 . The case is a Fender re-issue made in the same style as the original cases . Thank you .
