JD901 - JD905 - Converted from our JV-80 library

1) JD901 - “Country / Folk / Acoustic” is a fantastic collection of acoustic and electric guitar sounds, classical and folk plucked instruments, even zydeco and cajun timbres like washboard, accordion, and jew's harp! This is a comprehensive selection of CD-quality sounds for your country and folk compositions, including stringed instruments like fiddle and cello, as well as “down-home” sound FX like gurgling swamps, crickets, and birds. Also features a convenient sequencing template and useful splits and layered sounds in the performance section.

2) JD902 - “Animated Textures” contains ethereal, atmospheric, and dramatic mood-evoking textures for your next musical or film scoring project.Timbres range from cutting edge, avant-garde experimental sounds to beautiful spectral vocal pads, shimmering bell-tones, sweeping strings, dramatic percussion patches and more! You’ll also find electric & acoustic pianos, nature sound FX (ocean waves, rain & birdcalls), plus legendary D-50  patches like “Fantasia” and “Staccato Heaven.”

3) JD903 - “JV R&B Synths” contains synthesizer-oriented sounds in the R&B, Dance, Hip-Hop and New Jack idiom. Included are many of the traditional staple sounds of those styles, as well as new and unique sounds that expand and enhance your timbral palette for exciting new arrangements within those styles. 5) JD905 - “Sequencer Companion” for the JD-990—a specially programmed bank is designed to fill the needs of those who are using the JD as a multi-timbral “workstation” in conjunction with a sequencer or computer. It features a wide musical selection of the fattest, richest single oscillator voices possible, making it possible to work out complex multi-part arrangements without compromising sound quality! For those who want the best of both worlds, the sixteen performances provide plenty of ear-pleasing “mega” sounds, and serve as instructional starting points for your own performance creations. You’ll find plenty of funky basses, clean percussion, faithful synthesizer emulations, contemporary pianos, electric and acoustic guitars, bizarre sound effects and much more!

7) JD907 - “New Age Collection” is an indispensable grab-bag of timbres useful for all new age styles of music. You’ll find warm Rhodes pianos, crystalline bells, solid and transparent acoustic pianos, electric & acoustic guitars and other plucked instruments, solo saxophones, plus a generous assortment of breathy pads and mood-evoking atmospheric and special effects textures. The “Special Set-Up” includes new and useful percussion sounds specially constructed for this bank.

8) JD908 - “Film Textures” is a collection of powerful atmospheric voices, metallic industrial timbres, ambient special effects and exciting synthesizer sounds, all perfectly suited for film and soundtrack work. In addition to street noises, machines, vehicles, weather sounds and science fiction effects, there are souped-up analog synth sounds and even distorted guitar type timbres. The Jupiter 8—along with its successors the Jupiter 6 and SuperJupiter module—found its way onto legendary recordings by Duran Duran, Howard Jones, Devo and others in the 1980’s. Now Sound Source fuses those classic sounds with all the advanced performance features of the JD-990, providing the artist with a powerful palette of musical diversity.
