They will require sending them via MIDI with computer (PC or Mac) and a MIDI Interface to your keyboard or module

All K4 banks contain 64 new single patches, 64 new multi-patches and easy loading instructions

1) K401 - M1 Impressions

Modeled after the M1 factory programs, and many Sound Source M1 and T3 programs, this collection offers the K4 artist an entirely new palette of cutting edge sound choices. Our programming techniques, including additive and amplitude modulation, result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K4. Sounds include “Castatrat,” “M1 Baroque,” “Red Hot Chili Pepper Slapz,” “Meaty Synth,” “Karimba,” “Monsta Pad,” “Glass Bellz,” “M1 Rock Organ,” “Yeah, Depth,” “Damage” and more.

2) K402 - D50 Impressions

Modeled after the D-50’s factory and other patches, this set pro-vides an extremely realistic D-50 experience for the K4 owner. Our programming techniques, including additive and amplitude modulation, result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K4.

3) K403 - MASTERAM Collection, Volume 1

SINGLE PATCHES

This collection contains 64 “Single” patches. These are the most important group of patches in  the collection; it is with these single patches that you create the various types of “Multi” patches in the Multi section. These are the basic “building block” sounds and are designed to be complete and often complex sounds by themselves as you set up your K4 for multi-timbral sequence operation, so we have spent a great deal of time to refine these patches into individualistic timbres. The single patches will yield either eight- or sixteen- note polyphony depending on whether two or all four sources have been used to construct the sound. A sound created with two sources will yield sixteen-note polyphony.

MULTI PATCHES

This collection also contains 64 “Multi” patches that were created from the 64 single patches. The Multis will vary in type and include different types of splits, layers and velocity crossfades, many with both in a single patch. Try hitting the keyboard with varying velocity to see if the response changes. Although we have created these Multis, we strongly suggest that you read the section of the K4 manual that describes the creation of Multi patches. It is impossible for us to predict your personal musical needs and understanding this process will enable you to create Multi patches that are exactly suited to your needs. This will allow you to obtain the full musical power that is offered by this powerful multi-timbral instrument.

4) K404 - MASTERAM Collection, Volume 2

This collection contains 64 Single patches. These are the most important group of patches in the collection; it is with these single patches that you create the various types of Multi patches in the Multi section. These are the basic building block sounds and are designed to be complete and often complex sounds by themselves as you set up your K4 for multi-timbral sequence operation, so we have spent a great deal of time to refine these patches into individualistic timbres. 5) K405 - Stage and Studio

“Stage & Studio” is a collection of contemporary workhorse sounds designed to put an array of high quality patches at the fingertips of the working musician. Basses, organs, pianos, leads, pads and keyboard comping voices are included. There are also plenty of modern textures to satisfy alternative tastes.

This is a wide-ranging bank that will give you the most out of your K4 in situations that demand flexibility and creativity.

6) K406 - Pop / R&B

Load this bank of sounds into your K4 and get ready for some serious jammin’! We’ve gone to extra lengths to provide the most requested sounds here. From electric grand and Rhodes pianos to slammin’ sampled rhythm loops and plenty in between! Punchy, sizzling brass, “Fairlight” type string patches, workhorse electric guitar sounds, synth and electric basses, even “vector synth” type sounds and, of course, analog synth favorites—you’ll find it all in this soundbank. Included are 32 new effects patches, 64 single patches and 64 useful multi-patches, all carefully crafted to take full advantage of the K4’s sonic capabilities.
