Purchased used in 2016, this beautiful Borsini has 5 sets of handmade reeds on both sides of the bellows (treble and Bass). It has a beautifully resonant bass sound and a very full treble sound, as a result of the 5 sets of reeds on the right side. It has a double tone chamber. With it’s built-in high quality Sennheiser mic set up, it is ready to be hooked up to your amplifier and you have an amazing sounding accordion ready for professional use!
In beautiful condition both inside and out, this wet tuned accordion has reeds that are set up in the LMMMH configuration. Straps are virtually news, no signs of wear. 4 inch wide shoulder straps.
At the time of purchase, I was told that it was about 6-7 yrs old, placing the original manufacturing date at around 2010.
There are age appropriate wear signs on the celluloid, but nothing that would draw your attention without careful inspection.
One of the bass feet on the left side of the bellows was cracked, but has been repaired (picture included).
The white markings on the bass registers have worn down in some spots.
The right hand has 26 registers
(13 sets of registers duplicated twice for easy access when playing at the top or bottom of the keyboard,
with the bottom set of registers running in the opposite direction).
The bellows and bellow corners are in perfect condition. Internally all valves lie flat and are in excellent condition.
The hard case that comes with it has one lock where the spring is broken. The second lock is fine.
It also has an installed Musitech King MIDI with the integrated ability to support two pedals and two expander units. The midi installation inside is clean and in great shape, though I have never used the midi with the exception of testing it out once when I initially purchased it to make sure of proper functionality.
Since that time, it has never been used (MIDI is simply not "my thing").
The midi comes with a power supply and the cable from the accordion to the power supply.
It is missing the volume pedals (but they are easily available on Amazon for around $30.00), just do a search
for "M-Audio EX-P Universal Expression Pedal"
Listen to the beautiful sound of this Borsini on the video below.
There are also other videos by me on You Tube featuring the Borsini.
I am selling the accordion because it is simply getting too bulky for me to play with comfort.
Feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns.
