Mayones KTM guitar from 90" - HH Superstrat - Cherry Red & Black + gigbag

For sale is guitar from second half of 90's of the well-known Polish brand Mayones from the KTM series. This logo Mayones used between 1995-1998.

In the 90's, it was a very popular guitar model in Poland. A well-made and thought-out superstrat. The price was also relatively attractive for Polish consumers. Their production was terminated by Mayones because they did not match the profile of the premium instruments that Mayones wanted to sell over time.

Bolt-on construction.

Sycamore neck with maple fingerboard.

24 frets. 650 mm scale.

Board: Alder

Fixed bridge: no name

Tuners: Schaller (Made in Germany)

Pickups: H+H configuration. No name. Very solid humbuckers.

Electronic: Volume + tone + 3 way switch

Frets in very good condition.

The trus rod works good.

The instrument is in good condition for over 20 years. There are no paint chips, although it is scratched in many places. I tried to show the worst things in the pictures. Tone pot sounds a little crackling. Still original. Volume has been replaced with a new one.

Strings: old/rusty – for change.

The instrument is very comfortable and ready to play. Set in for 10-46 strings.

Complete with a used gigbag. The guitar will be shipped in this gigbag and carton.

Ps. I'm often asked if these old Mayones are of the same class as the modern ones. Honesty answer is: no! These are good instruments, but cannot be compared to those subjected to plek process and made of luxurious wood on the highest components. Translating this into illustrative examples, I will write that they are related to each other like Lexus limousines to Toyota Corolla. If you are looking for a reliable car / guitar on a reasonable budget, this is for you.
