Nice vintage lightly-figured 1958 Reissue Gibson Les Paul redone by Historic Makeovers! This one has their best (and most expensive) package known as the Real-Deal Series RDS. An absolutely wonderful vintage top R8 in a dirty lemon-looking finish! This one was clearly inspired by one of the most iconic 59 bursts of all time... the Peter Green "Greeny".   The pickups are the (rare) Throbak Peter Greens and he middle position has the most amazing out of phase tones you can imagine.

The finish is very well-done with some light aging, checking, and just a great overall look. I did some digging online and found out that this finish was based on an earlier 50's Gibson Les Paul that was factory refinished (Sunburst) in 1959. A beautiful guitar that plays and sounds excellent. The guitar is complete with original hardshell Lifton-style case, COA, paperwork, HM Certificate, etc..!

This one had the RDS package so whole nine yards including top carve, neck carve, vintage style truss rod, hot hide glue neck reset, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Retrospec inlays, Royalite binding, new frets, nylon nut, vintage correct finish, distressing, serial stamp, and headstock silkscreen. Perfect '59 neck, not too fat, not too small.  Measures 0.95 at the 1st and 0.98 at the 12th.  Not a lot of shoulder. Dark Brazilian Rosewood board. Great top dish. Very cool Stinger headstock.  Weighs 8.4 pounds.
