Martin Hannett Joy Division Vintage Analog 16 Channel Mixing Console Custom 1979

This is music room desk no7 owned by producer/engineer Martin Hannett.
Martin produced Joy Division, New Order, U2 and the Stone Roses to name a few. The unit was acquired from his estate. This is a custom made Neve clone, that can be used in the normal traditional sense or as a split 8 console. Made in the U.K. Martin was a very eccentric lad and this custom board is quite interesting with among other things.. separate treble and bass outs for parallel processing! Inside the unit is a sticker stating that the board was made and (modified) to Martin's specifications. It also states the location and the year which is 1979. Smack dab in the pinnacle of his form. The unit has rich warm creamy pre's with a very musical EQ. The center section has 2 separate EQ mastering sections for use in split 8 mode. Currently set up and used as 16 balanced TRS ins with master stereo (Full Range) TRS out on each side. Needs Elco style connector to access direct ins/outs per channel. When recently tested, channel 14 output was a little weaker than the rest. Also missing one EQ slider knob cap from center section. There is a light (red bulb) up section on the bottom of last four channels that has come unscrewed from the board on the inside and just needs to be reseated. I took a picture of that from the inside. It's just dropped down because it's loose. There is a small area on top of the wood where there is some wood damage. There is also a high/low switch on the back of channel one that is loose. Set up for UK voltage but comes with an adaptor. Feel free to ask any questions!
