This is a ROMpler that Roland made based on the SR-JV80-04 Vintage Synth Expansion card. MIDI controlled (it has IN, OUT and THRU) and stereo output. 255 sounds. Decent Roland and Oberheim synth pad sounds. There are some other good sounds in there as well, notably the Mellotron samples and even some decent Hammond organ sounds.
This unit is tested and working--the display is nice and bright, all knobs and buttons work, sounds are crystal clear. The power button has disappeared but the post is still there allowing easy on/off functionality. Note: Lots of scratches and dings, especially on underside (hence the price). This would be a great companion for a MIDI keytar or a nice addition of sounds to a retro studio.
