Vintage Boston Acoustics A70 Speakers

Boston Acoustics A70 Speakers, circa 1985, with original tweeters and new 8” woofers (as of June 2020.) Boston Acoustics speakers are known for clean, accurate sound and great value. I am the original owner. They were purchased in Fayetteville, NC in the 1980s. From a smoke free home. Soft dome tweeters have ferrofluid cooled voice coils. The 8” woofers were replaced with new ones purchased from SSAUDIO PREMIUM SPEAKER PARTS (June 2020. ). Back in the day, these were advertised as “The best combo of range and accuracy in its price class.”

Cabinets are maple wood grain vinyl veneer covering non-resonant particleboard. Excellent condition. Black cloth grilles are also original and in great shape. Please note: Serial numbers are NOT sequential. I have enjoyed hundreds of hours of music with them, and they are ready to do the same for you.
