About This Listing

For sale is an ultra rare 7-string Fernandes guitar that was personally owned, used and autographed by Brian “head” Welch from the rock/metal band KoRn!!

This guitar is from Head’s personal collection that he generously gifted me from his home studio in Bakersfield, California. He mentioned that he used this Fernandes on several tracks in studio because of the unique sound of the sustainer pickup, (compared to the typical Ibanez 7-string.)

Condition of the guitar overall is excellent condition. The strings are the original strings from when Brian owned/played it. I’ve never played it, it has just been showcased and displayed in my home for the last 16 years. There are several marks/chips on the body of the guitar, but if you compare the pictures of Head holding the autographed guitar in his kitchen to the picture I recently took for the listing, they are all marks that were already on the guitar when I received it in 2005. These wear marks only show that this guitar was in fact played by Brian and not just sitting around the studio. Includes hard case.

This is a collectors item and rare opportunity to own a piece of rock history. Additional pictures are available upon request.
