1970's Electra LP Custom Gibson Pickups Fully Rewired

Cool 70's Electra Super Rock Les Paul Custom. When I got this guitar it came with a Gibson 'Tar Back' pickup in the neck and some Epiphone pickup in the bridge. Also had some nasty wiring in it. I replaced the Epi pickup with a Gibson Burstbucker 3 with an Alnico 3 magnet (Custombucker) and completely rewired the guitar with brand new 500K CTS pots and NOS Sprague "Vitamin Q" caps. Kept the pickup switch (Switchcraft) but rewired it. All the braided wires from pots to switch and back are new. The pots are wired '50's style'. Guitar sounds amazing! No issues at all and ready to rock. Body is pancake style with 2 slabs of 3/4" Mahogany. Top is maple with 1/8" Maple plywood veneer top and back. 3-piece maple neck with a quality dark Rosewood fretboard. Frets are in good shape, flattened on top but no divots. 1 11/16" plastic nut. Slim taper neck profile. 24 3/4" scale. String action is low, fast and very comfortable. There is no fretting out or buzz anywhere. Body and headstock have multi-layered binding ala Les Paul Custom. Headstock is the classic Electra wave design. Older chrome Grover tuners. ABR-style tune-o-matic bridge and steel (or zinc) stop tailpiece. This guitar originally came with gold hardware but much has been replaced over the years so it's a hodgepodge of gold, nickel and chrome now. Great playing and sounding with tons of vibe!
