  Up for grabs is this PAIR of monstrous sounding 15" AlNiCo magnet, 3 brass bolt magnet speakers/woofers..

. These are kind of unique, because they can be employed in a couple different ways.Because of their wide 33Hz-4.5KHz, (because of their high compliance and excursion)they can be used for hi-fi alnico woofers, bass guitar speakers, even GUITAR speakers....Have an open baffle set up in mind?  GET THESE!!!

 Plus, with a 4 Ohm impedance, they would be GREAT upgrades for the old Fender 2x15" rigs, that use an amp with a 2 ohm load requirement. Just parallel these 2, and you're off to the races.... POr- wire in series for a standard 8 ohm load...Plus, that 4 ohm load can draw nice and hard on a solid state amp to yield incredible bass output..

 As far as condition, I recently acquired these from a friend, and from the looks of things, he took REALLY good care of them/stored them properly. This particular 15" model with the 3 brass bolts is rare, not to mention in this good of condition.

 Most of these are dry rotted, moisture damaged, or have adhesives that are oxidized and failing, but THIS pair- I just couldn't find anything wrong with them....

 The cones and voice coils are ORIGINAL- these are NOT rebuilt/ re-coned speakers, but actually have the OEM cone/coil/spider/gaskets/litz wires, which by the way, are insulated with cloth..

... Surround failures are not an issue, as these 2 have a coat of the black tacky "ReZon-Ex" , and will out live their new owners.The surrounds on these are paper, and have been treated to reduce cone edge resonances, prolong surround life, and increase compliance/low end response.....

 The dust caps are the "Deep H-dome" screen/open weave cloth dust caps..

 Hook up are the OLD pre-Celestion type wire wrap terminals....

 Depth is 7.25".. Power max is around 50 watts, as these have the PAPER former voice coils!.. Yep- the paper tonality and fidelity in this pair!.. Sensitivity is quite high...These are LOUDspeakers.....
  The pole plates are really thick, around 1/4 or 3/8" thick..  ..which is a lot for an alnico unit..
