ABOUT LAG:

Lâg Guitars is a French music company founded in the Occitania region of France, by master luthier Michel Lâg-Chavarria. Lâg is most popular for its guitars and has produced guitars since 1980, starting with Beastsuperstrat models They are designed in a small custom shop in the south of France. Phil Campbell of Motörhead, Bob Kulick (KISS, session player et al) and Charles Hedger of Cradle of filth use LÂG guitars (from online-Wiki).

LAG Guitar no longer builds solid body guitars and those of this early period of its growth are becoming scarcer and are increasing in price as players discovered their incredible playability mostly due to their “ultra-fine neck” and “highly streamlined body”.

ABOUT THIS MODEL: SN-05359

1.   Body Wood:  Alder.

2.   Body Shape:  Very contoured and “streamlined” with great access to lower frets thanks to bottom cutout.

3.   Finish:  Poly with yellow burst front and “Snakeskin” image and back is cherry finish.

4.   Neck Wood: Hard Rock Maple. (Satin Finish)

5.   Neck Type:  Bolt on.

6.   Frets:  24 Silver Nickel Jumbo.  Incredibly well rounded and dressed.

7.   Fretboard:  Brazilian Rosewood.

8.   Scale:  25.5”.

9.   Nut: R2.

10.                  Tuners:  6-inline GOTOH.

11.                  Pickups:  SEYMOUR DUNCAN. APH-1-NJ, 1R, and TB12-J.

COMMENTS ABOUT THIS GUITAR:

1.             “Neck is set into ‘superstrat’ body with deep cutaways allowing easy access to lower fretboard and back is shaped on top to allow greater access to higher frets.”

2.             “Neck is flat and wide like a Hamer or Jackson and easy to play”.

CONDITION OF THIS GUITAR:

This guitar is in EXCELLENT operating condition and VERY GOOD cosmetic condition.  Body shows very slight scratches, dents, dings, et al that come from casual playing.

This is really a great Euro guitar.  Some folks call it the “ultimate Shredder guitar”, I call it simply a great high quality beautiful guitar.
