Electro-Voice SRO/15” Inch Speaker 1970s

You're looking at one of the most legendary 15 inch speakers ever made. I'm not sure what year it was manufactured but it's likely from the 70s. This one has never been reconed or modified in any way. According to the specs I could find this has a big ceramic magnet and paper surround and is capable of the following:

- 103+db sensitivity
- 60w RMS
- 300w peak

I used this for many years for guitar and bass and the low end is massive--big, bold, accurate and beautiful! It's very versatile and I used it for jazz to rock. Personally I find this pairs tremendously with Fender amps for big, even clean tones with no ice pick high end; lap steel guitar, bass guitar, even metal is where this speaker can also excel. This thing is big and heavy and so for now I'm only offering for local pickup in Southern California/San Diego.
