Here's a real nice Yamaha "Natural Sound" Stereo Receiver with the added bonus of 5.1 HT functions
This receiver also has a magnetic Phono input so you can utilize your vintage turntable with a magnetic cartridge. No pre-amp needed. This is a feature that started disappearing, with the demise of Vinyl & Turntables,
which is making a huge comeback.
Not at all shy of power to drive a good set of quality speakers. Giving 70 Watts RMS Per channel of super clean sound. It uses discrete output transistors. Surprising bc some late 70’s Pioneer stuff had the STK chip outputs.
The specs on this "post Golden era" unit is impressive. Technology advanced greatly before the cost cutting
methods of years closer to the current available products. It certainly does have a warm "Natural Sound".

See the basic specs:

Tuning range: FM, MW
Power output: 70 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)
Surround output: 70W (front), 70W (center), 15W (rear)
Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.04%
Damping factor: 80
Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line)
Signal to noise ratio: 82dB (MM), 93dB (line)
Channel separation: 60dB (MM), 60dB (line)
Output: 150mV (line)
Video Connections: composite
Dimensions: 435 x 146 x 299mm (17 1/8" W x 5 3/4" H x 11 3/4" D )
Weight: 8.5kg - APPX - 20 LB (before packing)

(Psst - A perfect match with the Yamaha 5 Disc Changer I also have listed)

It's been put through it's paces and is working exactly as it should. This era of audio is very reliable and it's nothing to shy away from. will give you years of outstanding performance!

A good amount of input choices - CD LD audio Magnetic Phono and 2 more including a tape monitor mode

A little bonus as I look at it... since our stereo systems are generally located where out TV is you can add basic video switching a pair or small rear speakers and a center channel. You'll get the advantage of playing with a few sound fields to enhance the listening experience. Any questions as to how to connect the TV sound output to this, feel free to ask. You'll need a piece to do it correctly although there are several perfectly acceptable ways ways to do it utilizing a DVD player or VCR.

Meanwhile - I'm offering this high Quality Receiver and Stereo amplifier that sounds great and has ample power for decent speakers. (Hmmm where have I heard this before?) Also check out the size - it isn't a monster that will overpower your room and hang out over your average depth shelves - only 11 3/4" Deep (allow for cables)
A "Wife Friendly" Footprint.

There isn't a remote control for it but you can find them online on several selling platforms. â€¨â€¨This will be Meticulously Packed and shipped the same or next business day from on hand stock.
I give it a once over check-out and another level of cleaning (right down to the power cord).
I welcome all questions... just message me. I answer quickly

PS: The last picture is a pic of a recent sale and is representative of the care I put into packing & preparing your new item. â€¨â€¨Check out all my other offerings or ask for anything that you are looking for - I don't rush anything to market. I take my time and have a lot more items coming.

If you’d like to add a Yamaha center channel speaker, I have a nice quality one. Let’s work out a package deal!!
