This is my DX7IID and I've treated it like a child the whole time I've had it. I recently put a new battery in it. While I was in there I cleaned it(it wasn't bad for its age!) and serviced all the switches and sliders. Everything works great, though despite cleaning them out well a couple buttons take just a little more pressure. Not by much, but it's there and something I wouldn't leave unmentioned. There's a little scuff above the algorithm labels, but other than that the front looks very good. The bottom has some light marking. One cheek has been replaced with one that can also hold a disk drive and be run like a DX7IIFD(with further modification), but it is empty and covered from the inside.
Well taken care of and serviced. Good to go another 35 years! The capacitors all looked good, too.
