Brand new, unused, in the original box. No gimmicks--secure your reed with an elegant classic.

This is the increasingly hard-to-find eternal Selmer Paris triple-band silver-plated brass ligature for metal tenor saxophone mouthpieces. Nothing works better. The design is beautifully simple and the durable silver plating will last a lifetime of play. Two screws keep the reed fixed in place when adjusting the mouthpiece on the cork. It is typically used in the non-inverted position: screws at the bottom, adjacent to the reed.

The fit is intended for cylindrical metal tenor mouthpieces. It also works very well on my vintage Otto Link STM: the stripe lines up over the ridge for easy centering, and some reeds (like Select Jazz) seal better than with the flatter plate of the vintage OL ligature. It will NOT fit hard rubber or plastic large-barrel tenor mouthpieces.

The screws on Selmer Paris ligatures are renowned for their precise operation. I have applied a bit of Yamaha synthetic cork grease to the threads so that they are smooth-turning from the start.
