For sale is my beloved 1983 Gibson Sg Special with the original "shawbuckers". This vintage SG is absolute player and has mojo oozing from its aged body. It comes with the Gibson chainsaw case (indestructible) and fresh set up (DR blues 10s) and clean up from Audiomanic guitars. There is a lot of nicks to the finish and body on this guitar. I tried to display as best I could. They do not affect the sound or playability, and IMO only add mojo to this guitar. The neck was damaged long before I owned it. The repair isn't the prettiest thing but its displayed no change in the years I've had, and every guitar tech who touches it says it is stable and holding just fine.

This Gibson features:
  • Original "Shawbucker" humbucker pick ups. Incredible Tim Shaw pickups that makes this guitar a blues rock screamer.
  • 3-pc laminated Maple
  • Rounded '50s profile
  • Set-in construction.
  • Joins body at 18th fret
  • Indian Rosewood fretboard w/ dot inlays
  • Narrow open book headstock with Gibson logo decal in Classic font style,  17o pitch
  • 22 frets
  • 24 9/16" scale
  • 1 11/16" nut width
