For sale is a 1992 Martin HD-28. The guitar is in a excellent condition and has obviously been well cared for having no serious dings, scrapes or marks and zero cracks. The original finish is in excellent condition with no apparent wear anywhere. No real play wear other than some on the pick guard. Frets and fingerboard are original and excellent. Adjustable neck is straight with no warp or twisting. Action is medium low with bridge and saddle having been slightly lowered. The bridge has a hairline crack through the middle as shown in close up picture. A strap button has been added to the neck heel. The guitar is equipped with a Martin Thinline pickup. A strap button was added just above the pick up end pin Jack as shown in the picture. The top of the guitar is nice and flat with no “bellying” whatsoever. Comes with original paperwork and Martin Thermoplastic case.
In summary I have pointed out any alterations or negatives to be found on this guitar, I can tell you it is a 30 year old Martin Dreadnaught with factory scalloped braces that sounds exactly like it was designed to do and looks near new. It came from the original owner.
If I have not addressed any questions you may have or are not clear on don’t hesitate to ask. Don’t hesitate to ask for more pictures or shoot me a reasonable offer as I am a reasonable man who has been doing this many years. Please give thought to my description and inspect the pictures. It is an excellent guitar that looks near new but already has 30 years of playing to bring out the best in it.
Thank you for looking and here’s to a great New Year.
