Peavey Tracer 2 HSS. Handmade in the USA. I believe this was made somewhere between 1988 and 1992 based on catalog brochures. It has been modded. Locking Tuners, a Floyd Rose or Gotoh Trem with Fernandes branding. The trem is “decked” which means it’s down only. Dimarzio 500k audio taper pots. 5-way switch wired for the standard auto-split diagram. The Humbucker is a Dimarzio Transition (Steve Lukather model) the singles are stock Peavey. Something really cool is that this superstrat is 24.75” scale so not only can you get your big long Jake E. Lee stretches in but it has a darker more Les Paul like sound. It’s been played and worn in, there are dings and play wear scratches everywhere. Plays so good though. If you’re looking to get an 80’s shred machine this guitar might just be the one for you. Killer action and great pickup balance.
