Custom Fender tele. 2010 Fender American Special alder body, with original thin-skin satin black nitro finish. Body is routed for Nashville setup (strat middle pickup), and pickup and control cavities are painted with copper shielding paint. The black paint chips easily, and it has a great real relic vibe. It shows wear on the upper and lower bouts, and buckle rash on the back. See photos, I'm happy to take more if needed. Weighs 7 lb, 8 oz.
Neck is a 2013 Warmoth, '59 profile. Telecaster®, Vintage Modern, Maple, 1 11/16" Nut Width, 59 roundback, 6150 fret wire, 22 frets, 10-16" Compound Radius, Black Face Dots Inlay, GraphTech White TUSQ nut. Thin satin finish. Frets are excellent, very minor wear on the first 5 frets. Kluson vintage style tuners and modern Fender string tree.
Bridge pickup Fender pure vintage '64 tele.
Neck pickup Dimarzio vintage minibucker DP240.
500k pots, with resistor on the bridge pickup. This keeps the high end on the neck humbucker, and makes the bridge pickup behave like it's wired to a traditional fender 250K pot. Best of both worlds. Tone cap is a RS Guitarworks .022. Flipped control plate for easier volume swells.
Bridge is Fender USA vintage style, with compensated brass saddles.
Cloth wiring and electrosocket jack. Dunlop straplocks included.
3-ply BWB pickguard, and extra Nashville pickguard also included in case you want to add a middle strat pickup. I had it like that for a while, it gives some great options.
1990's Fender hard case included. Case is in rough shape, but serviceable. I got this case in a trade, and repaired a big crack on the bottom. It's solid and usable. 1 latch is broken, the handle is fine.
Set up with fresh .10's. Great guitar, but I have too many and looking to downsize. Get a USA Fender with all quality parts for less than the price of a new MIM tele.
