Fine example of Top-of-Range Washburn Jazz Guitar only limited production period in the '90s, so hard to find, excellent condition, Quality hard case.

*** Rare Opportunity to buy a Mature Top-of-the-Range Washburn Big-Bodied Jazz Guitar, which even in the mid-'90s sold new at a list price of around $1,500.

*** A classic, large, hollow-bodied Archtop Electric Jazz Guitar! High-Quality & Stunning Looks!

*** Dimensions........Fingerboard Radius:12". Neck Profile: C. Nut Width: 43mm./1.69". Scale Length: stated in Washburn Archive to be 648mm, but appears to actually measure 650mm./25.6". Body Dimensions: 43.2cm./17" x 8.4cm./3.3" (front), 9.4cm./3.7" (rear).

*** I'm sure that the photos more than adequately show the great condition and highest quality looks of this splendid guitar, which has been checked over by Colin Keefe, the Luthier I work with before sale....any use marks are of the most minor nature.

*** The guitar was professionally overhauled, with partial fret stoning & re-profile and set-up, about 3 years ago, since when it has had virtually no playing at all.

*** Action......excellent at approx. 1.75mm./2.25mm. at 12th. fret. Strings.....expected that buyer of a high quality Jazz guitar of this type will fit their own preferred strings....not absolutely sure what the existing strings are, but could well be Newtone Archtop 12-52 gauge? Case........Traditional "Gator" finish hard case in great condition, with just the odd minor nick, and quality deep black internal lining, and two keys!

*** There are quite a few YouTube demo clips of the J-10 Orleans, mainly from the same source as the embedded clip entitled "J 10 95 SOLD Japan Washburn Carved Solid Top Sweet Tone This Is A Great One" by "polkzoo"....although again some statements not supported...."Japan......". Additional Link #1, on my Vintage & Traditional Guitars website, is a very useful clip of a J-10 Orleans played unplugged....haven't taken up his plugged in follow up, as i notice that the pickup has been changed on his guitar, but that obviously does not affect the acoustic sound....which is beautiful!

All VTG guitars are available for sale within the UK, but following the withdrawal from the European Union, the very regular shipments I have made for my guitars for many years, throughout western Europe, from Finland down to Portugal, and every country in between, regrettably are no longer available.

However, buyers from Europe are welcome to purchase, providing they make their own courier collection & delivery arrangements, paying their own shipping costs and transit insurance costs, together with the Import Duties or VAT applicable to their own countries.

Subject to this I will do my very best to assist, but such arrangements would be on the strict understanding that once the guitar leaves here it is entirely the responsibility of the buyer, and I will accept no further liability.
