Here is a very rare set of 11 B&B Audio/Aphex EQF-2’s 500 Series 4 band Parametric EQ & Filter with the famous Jensen output Transformer housed in a Brent Averill Rack.
I have owned these unit for over 25 years. All units were from the B&B series. Once Aphex acquired the company I had them gone through over 25 years ago and replaced some of the worn faceplates with the Aphex versions. All unit have the rare Jensen output transformers which make all the difference in the tonal presentation these EQ’s are know for. Some of the Aphex series did not have the transformers and do not sound the same.
All the units pass audio and work accept number 11. The whole rack of 11 modules should be gone through and have switches and pots cleaned so that they perform properly. I have not used these units in over 15 years. There is nothing here that a competent tech can fix including the eleventh unit. However the whole package is priced accordingly and is sold in as is condition.
