Up for sale is a Warmoth/MJT S-style build!
The Warmoth neck is made out of roasted maple with a rosewood fingerboard. 6105 Dunlop fret wire with a 10”-16” compound radius plays like butter and allows for super low action. 1.693” nut width feels perfect and familiar. The neck shape is a beefy V that is super comfortable and pairs nicely with the low friction satin finish. Gold Hipshot locking tuners round things out offering amazing tuning stability and lightning speed string changes. As you can see, some dropout has occurred on the “Fender” spaghetti logo but fortunately for you, it doesn’t affect tone or playability.
The body is an alder MJT nitro finish relic build in Charcoal Frost. If you look closely you can see lots of nice checking throughout. A gold Kluson bridge assembly keeps your strings in place along with a full sized trem block. A gold trem bar will be included with the sale. The body cavity has been thoroughly shielded to cut down on any 60 cycle hum. Tone Hatch Rude Blues pickups keep things hot and toneful while killing hum in the 2 and 4 positions. A reliable Obsidian wiring harness ties it all together. Aged plastic pickup covers and tone/volume knobs with a tortoise shell pickguard complete the look.
This guitar has been setup to play as effortlessly as possible. It has been strung with Ernie Ball .10’s. The neck has been slightly shimmed to get the desired break angle and is straight. This is a really cool combination of classic sound with modern playability. Weighs about 7.5 lbs.
Gig bag included with sale and will packed as bombproof as humanly possible.
