About This Listing

This is a vintage King Zephyr baritone saxophone, with keywork to Low Bb.  The Serial #375255 indicates it was built in approximately 1960.  The instrument plays and has mostly newer pads, but we would recommend a thorough servicing, dent removal and some resoldering to put it in more reliable condition.

The instrument was a school owned instrument and as such has dents and wear & tear throughout.  The lacquer is pretty worn and the brass has developed an orangish patina.  There are multiple resolders on the instrument and the following parts need to be soldered: alternate F# guard feet (2), U-tube to body brace flange is broken, Eb guard foot.  The neck has some pull down creasing, has been patched and the neck octave key appears to have been brazed.

Includes a hardshell case that is in similar condition to the instrument.
