This 1954 Supro Comet SN X352xx is in great overall shape and sounds wonderful. The pickup is very strong and is stone stock and drives an amplifier nicely! Not wimpy or thin at all. The tuners were replaced by a previous owner and the case while I believe it is a period original does not fit the guitar correctly (it is a bit too wide on the bridge end and the neck cutout is a little too narrow to hold it in place solidly) and I have used microfiber cloths to firm it up in the case, this is how it came to me. Those are the only originality issues with the instrument. It is not banged up at all and the Mother of Toilet Seat is clean as is the Supro pickup cover that never got tossed out or lost. Included are 2 bars, a Stevens#345 and a Dunlop 920 Stainless, if you have priced these you will appreciate their inclusion. For sale in the USA only.
