Hamer USA Duo Tone in orangeburst for sale.
The Hamer Duo Tone is one of the most versatile (and underrated) handmade guitars in Customshop quality, used by bands like Pearl Jam, The Police, Styx, Little River Band, Cheap Trick, Todd Rundgren and many other musicians.
This guitar offers an enormous variety of high class sound possibilities: two Humbuckers and the Piezo system are completely switch- and mixable and can be changed on stage immediately: from clear and crispy acoustic sounds to heavy hardrock walls: everything is possible, even both at once.

Fingerboard: Rosewood with mother-of-pearl-dot inlays
Body: one-piece Honduras mahogany
Top: two-piece Sitka spruce with three round sound holes at the top of the body plus ivory binding

Original Seymour Duncan Humbucker. Neck: β59, Bridge: Jeff Beck
Original Piezo-ceramic pick-up system.
Two triple switches
Front switch: 1st: Neck Humbucker, 2nd: both Humbuckers out of phase, 3rd: Bridge Humbucker
Rear switch: 1st: Humbucker, 2nd: Humbucker plus Piezo, 3rd: Piezo
Three pots: 1st: Volume Humbucker, 2nd: Tone Humbucker, 3rd: Volume Piezo
Individual triple Piezo EQ adjustment on the back plate: 100 Hz, 1.200 Hz, 4.500 Hz plus adjustment for overall Piezo-Gain.
Two output sockets, one for Humbucker and one for Piezo. This allows individual routing to different amps and setups If desired: both outputs can easily combined with an Y-cable.
Original Schaller M6 chrome tuners
Weight: 2. 9 kg
Condition: almost mint or NOS except two small cracks in the finish down both sides of the nut (no headstock crack, no repair, hardly perceptible, see photos) and Straplock buttons.
Original Hamer case in very good condition, all five latches are working perfect.
The Duo Tone is on sale because I start reducing my collection and will concentrate on Hamers from the 70s and 80s (see last photos). I am the second owner and bought the guitar in 2001.
