Here we have a Mint in Box (pups only removed for photos and put back in the box) set of 1959 Virgil Arlo Humbuckers by Tone Specific. The guys at TS were able to make a reissue that is actually better than the originals. There is a reason why you see so many of the original White Labels for sale but rarely see a used set of Tan labels showing up on eBay or Reverb.

With guys like Virgil Arlo & Tom Holmes retiring, The guys at Tone Specific have established themselves as one of the premier brands in the industry, so it comes as no surprise that their Arlo reissues have been so well received. Sure they get trolled by losers on forums but real players know that anything Tone Specific makes is top of the line.

When I heard how well these Tan Label 59s stacked up to the original 59s, I went a little crazy and bought a few more sets than I needed. I have a set of these in my 335 and another in my Les Paul so I don't need this set. It makes no sense for these to live in the box on my shelf when they could live in your guitar.

Tone Specific only made these "Tan Labels" for a short period of time because they sold out in just a few months.

Don't miss out on this set because they rarely show up here on Reverb for sale!
