MNATs (now Hairball Audio) 1176 Compressor racked pair

Hi all,

I have decided to put up for sale a pair of MNATs (now Hairball Audio) revision F compressors conveniently put together in one rack unit (2Us).

I will not explain what a 1176 compressor is and how does it sound, because if you are reading this I am sure you already know.

This pair was built by the well-known professional Spanish builder “Tejuca”. I sold previously here on Reverb a pair of his EZ1073 EQs-preamps, and the buyer was delighted (you can see this in my feedback). He does a really good job, in my opinion.

Both compressors can be used independently or linked together. When linked together, the channel that is compressing the most takes control over the other. For this reason, to be honest I do not recommend it for stereo buss duties, as it is a bit difficult to find the sweet spot (or maybe it´s me, hehe).

The rack case presents normal signs of use: a little mark here and there and some scratches on the casing (mostly on the bottom). I have tried to document its external condition on the pictures, please take a look.

I just got the 1176s tested and calibrated by a professional technician. If you check my feedback here, you will see that I am trustworthy seller.

The 1176s are in Pamplona (the very north of Spain, near France) and you are very welcome to try them if you happen to be nearby. If you come to try them, I will buy you a beer. :D
