A Japanese solid body guitar produced for import and retail by Cleartone Musical Instruments, a Jim Marshall business, during the 1970's and bearing more than a passing resemblance to a 6LS.

Well constructed, the body is Mahogany and the neck probably the same, with a pair of solid covered pickups and a three way rotary switch for pickup selection, twin volumes and a master tone. It all seems to be pretty well original in terms of equipment, with the possible exception of the chicken head selector knob. Circular witness marks on the indicator plate indicate a previous larger knob was installed.

It looks to have had a refinish at some point, done to a fair standard, although perhaps a little thin not 'see through' thin but there are some small lumps and bumps beneath the finish. The speed knobs have got a little cloudy over time.

The guitar has had a fret dress and polish and plays with a reasonably low action, the neck is moderately chunky. Everything works as it should and its a tidy looking instrument overall, and not one that turns up every day.
