UPDATE: Now includes its original Epiphone hard case, so I will ship to Continental U.S. Shipping cost depends on destination, but likely less than posted rate.
2003 Epiphone Riviera
Cherry red finish.
Warm, smooth 'New York' mini-humbuckers like the original 1960s model (not thin modern P-93s).
Maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays.
Semi-hollow archtop with a 'through neck'—a solid center block that goes underneath the pickups and bridge, reducing the feedback that can come with a fully hollow body.
Unique 'Frequensator' tailpiece brightens treble strings, adds weight to bass.
These early to mid-2000s Rivieras with mini-humbuckers, made in Korea's Peerless factory, are becoming harder to find, and this one is in almost perfect condition—never been gigged with.
Some ageing to the finish on the headstock, but not very noticeable. Tiny scuffs/scratches in the varnish, again only visible in direct light.
The thin metal Epiphone '€' logo on the pickguard has come unglued (happens to almost all Epiphone archtops after a couple of years) but I've still got it if you want to stick it back on...
Recently set up by a guitar tech, new strings, great action. Superbly playable guitar.
