John Price is one of Australia's most renowned luthiers and his guitars are played by many concert performers. Like most Australian luthiers, John Price builds lattice guitars: their thin bracing, glued in a diamond-shape, is carbon reinforced. This kind of "minimalist" lattice construction allows the guitar to remain fairly lightweight and retain some of the tonal characteristics of traditionally built instruments, while adding those of the lattice guitars. This instrument was built in 2019 and remains in perfect condition.
