AKAI CR-80D-SS SURROUND STEREO 8 TRACK CARTRIDGE TAPE DECK PLAYER/RECORDER

For sale is an AKAI CR-80D-SS surround stereo 8 track player recorder. It is in good condition Albeit with a couple small chips and dings as shown and a 2CH lamp out. It has been tested the heads have been cleaned and demagnetized and the pots and switches have been sprayed  and everything works fairly well.  It records and plays back with clear sound almost as good as a CD depending on the type of tape that you use and the fast forward seems to work OK as well. Price is $499.99 OBO!

SHIPPING AND WARRANTY:

The shipping is $60 which ALSO includes secure packing and the weight of the deck accounts for the shipping cost. This item will be packed extremely well so it arrives in one piece. Reverb Safe Shipping will also be added to cover both myself and the buyer in the event something should happen during shipment rendering the deck inoperable. DO NOT discard the packing material and box! Decks usually ship out the next business day; sometimes on the same day. Please note, once the item is shipped out, THE SELLER HAS NO CONTROL over how fast it arrives to the buyer.

Due to a number of false "item not as described" Claims, A Pre shipment video of each deck operating properly will be filmed for both my protection and the buyer's and it may be sent to the buyer at anytime (usually the same day it ships out). This buyer agrees to accept this as proof the deck left my place in working order!

Due to the age and vintage nature of these electronics, NO warranty or guarantee is implied nor expressed other than the promise that it will arrive working as described in the listing!

Under NO circumstances will I tolerate pressure, threats, bullying, attitude, or ultimatums in the event something unexpectedly goes wrong. I am here to help out in any way that I can without the need for such behavior. Documentation may be requested for any issues that arise so I can determine the best way to resolve them. Leaving 1-star ratings, making threats, rushing to judgment, or other abusive behavior, especially over issues that can just as easily be resolved just by communicating like civilized adults does NOT solve anything. It just creates a hostile trading environment and leads to tensions and negativity.

I have been selling for 17 years and have plenty of happy buyers who like their purchases and allowed me to resolve issues that came up so everybody was happy on both sides and those are the type of customers Id rather have.

RETURNS:

All items returned for the following reasons will be subjected to a 15% restocking fee:

buyer changed their mind
buyer can't afford it
wife doesn't like it
it doesn't fit their style
buyer failed to read the listing before purchasing
item works as described but doesnt meet the buyer's expectations or they dont know how to use it
buyer states the item doesnt work as described, but after receiving the item back and testing it, it is determined that no fault was found with the item. In this case a new video will be filmed showing the item in proper working condition. This policy is necessary to make up for lost shop time. the shipping costs will be NON REFUNDABLE.

By making the purchase, the buyer HEREBY AGREES to the terms and conditions as listed. This is to ensure fairness on both sides and leaves no room for misunderstanding or error. If these terms and conditions cannot be readily agreed to, the best thing to do would be to court another seller and save both of us future hassles!
