Custom Designed & Crafted Blue Tele-style Silver Tolex/Dumortierite Stones #023

Custom Designed & Crafted metallic blue tele body - top covered in silver tolex - Dumortierite stone inlay 1/4" in from edge of body.   It has a dark blue pearl signature Jim Root tele pickguard - for a double humbucker setup.  The pickups are Kent Armstrong Custom Series Nitro Bucker PAF style ceramic pickups with nickel covers. 
The neck pickup and bridge pickup are both 8.8k. There is a three way toggle - CTS volume and tone pots - Orange drop capacitor.  The volume and tone knobs are dome style in chrome with vine inlay.  The bridge is a half ashtray with solid brass intonated saddles.  All hardware is chrome.  The neck is a tele style maple neck with maple fingerboard - medium jumbo fret wire - 14" radius.  Gears are Kluson vintage tele gears.  The headstock has our signature abalone rising stars applied.  The guitar is strung with Curt Mangan 9-42's.  The guitar weights 7lbs 14 oz.

This humbucker is a similar design to the Alnico Vintage Series pickup except utilizing the added power of a ceramic magnet. The ceramic magnet adds greater output, string definition and clarity without sacrificing the warm characteristics that these pickups will your instrument. This makes a great bridge position pickup when used with the regular Alnico version in the neck position. 6 adjustable pole pieces. 4 conductor wiring allows coil splitting, series/parallel, phase inversion, and more.
