Taylor 810 Limited 2002 "Taylorstock" Custom Shop

This is a one-of-a-kind custom build from the "Taylorstock" event in 2002, where a group of Taylor enthusiasts got to select their own wood combinations and other specs at the Taylor factory. The guitar's original owner, Joe Mondello, is written on the custom sticker inside the guitar. I'm probably the 3rd or 4th owner and have had it for about 12 years, always humidified, pet and smoke free. It's in near perfect condition - just 3 little surface dings on the top lower bout, only 1 of them is noticeable, and then just barely (see pic) - a 9.5/10 overall. I had a K&K Pure Mini pickup installed. The original HSC is an 8.5/10. 2pc Cocobolo back/sides. Sitka top, clear pickguard, Gothic Vine inlay,gloss ebony headstock overlay, flamed maple binding. It's a stunner. Nut width 1.75", scale is 25.75". Plays and sounds fantastic of course. No cracks or repairs. Update: My luthier said it has a slight bridge lift so it may need to be re-glued in the future so I dropped the asking price accordingly. There's almost no wear on the frets. Note: the original Taylorstock truss cover was replaced with an ebony one, which looks way better. I do not have the original. It's a true treasure and a piece of Taylor guitar history. I never thought I'd sell this one but my guitar count is getting high and I have a surplus of dreadnoughts. More pics available for serious potential buyers.
