This is an auction for an Alesis HD24 caddy and hard drive. The caddy is brand new, while the drive is re-conditioned and comes from a professional supplier. I have sold over 200 of these and never had a caddy be incompatible with an HD24.The hard drive is a 250GB Seagate Barracuda 7,200 rpm lightning fast IDE hard drive (not SATA drive). These Seagate IDE drives are the best I've found to work with the HD24. It will come pre-formatted and out of the box is ready to plug in and use with your HD24 or HD24XR.
